Privacy policy
There are no user accounts on e-code.pl, and the site places no advertising or tracking cookies. Below is what happens to data while you use the converter.
Links and searches
Your browser itself extracts the video ID from whatever link you paste. Pressing MP4 or MP3 sends just that ID plus the chosen format, via our relay at api.e-code.pl, on to the conversion service; the finished file is then fetched by your browser straight from that service. Search words are passed to our search function, which looks the videos up on YouTube. Results stay in a cache for a few hours, with nothing tying them to you.
Third parties
Thumbnails come from i.ytimg.com, YouTube's image server, and the Preview button opens YouTube's privacy-enhanced player on youtube-nocookie.com. Those requests show your IP address to Google, which handles it according to Google's privacy policy. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, keeps request logs for a short time for security reasons.
Statistics
Our statistics tool sets no cookies. It tallies page views and button presses and stores the page, referrer, country and device type, never your identity.
